Native American Villages

Hi! I'm Alexis, and I want to tell you about our Native American villages.  We learned what kinds of houses they live in.We also learned what they eat, hunt, make things out of, and what they use to make or to hunt with.We actually got to make models of their houses. We got to other things like a Birch box (my group), or the moccasins (a shoe). We watched videos and a read a book to learn about the tribes. That's all we did with the Native American villages.  Bye, but if you are following us thanks a lot!

Writer's Notebooks

Hey girls and guys!  I wanted to let you know that Mrs. Showalter has upgraded our Animoto, so that we can now create clips over thirty seconds.  We need to send her an ENOURMOUS thank you!  Here is the Writer's Notebook clip that I created.  You can tell your parents all about our notebooks, that we have neglected this week.  You can tell them about how we make seed ideas and the writing process.

We were learning about the steps in a scientific investigation.  We put a gummy worm in 100 ml of water, and another in an empty cup.The next day we saw that the gummy worm in water got bigger, and the one without water stayed the same.  Our manipulating variable was adding water, our responding variable was gummy worm growth.  It was a very fun project that we will never forget.

Interest Survey

Hello boys and girls.  I am trying something brand new again.  You know that we're always learning together.  I am trying out a survey, and I thought it would be neat to post it to the blog.  If you have a chance please complete it.  Your answers are private, so you can be honest!  Good luck:)
